What $20 gets you

So i went to my LFS today like i do once a week (every thursday) when they get there "new" shippment in. I rarly ever buy anything from them because its rarly any good. But today i have my hopes high i think i found somthing in a few weeks could be a gem. I like it alot and it was hard to capture its true color it is a orange/red swirl. With all the swirls leading to a eye where it has a lime green mouth. Let me know what you guys/gals think ill try and get a better pic tomm.

very cool!! i did the same thing....lfs had a chalise i had never seen for $25 and it turned out to be a very pretty one and i dont even think there is a name for it!

Yea, i saw it in a corner and was like thats a great looking piece and under better lights it will color up nice. Then the sales guys was like " Ph you like chalice's, well he fraged out our pink ******* for 350 a eye." They normly over charge alot. I cant wait to see what it turns out to be in a month or so.

There is about 5-8 eyes one it. More then halfthe eye's the swirl goes right to the green mouth. On a few of the eye's there eye is pink/red with the green mouth. Im was wondering what will happe when it grows/breaks in. Im hoping the swirl to the green mouth is dominate cause i done like the red/pink eye.

Nice score. Some of my best pieces have come from dying frags or brown out acros. Keep us posted to how it colors up.

Very nice find! I do the same thing but they get them and there brown looking bad I have a few now that I have cleaned up just waiting for them to color up. The bad thing is they could be on a last thread and they still try and sell it full price so I talk them down and wait for the surprise.
