What about a small (100w) second heater?

I have a 500W heater for my 120 display I control with my apex. It is set to come on at 77.9 and off at 78.8. It currently cycles about 20 times/day. I was thinking about adding a 100-125W heater with settings of 77.7 and 79.0 so that it runs all the time to slow the cooling phase and minimize wear and tear on my apex outlets. I could also set the main to a tighter temp if I can slow down the on and off cycling. I already have an extra heater is it worth the trouble?

That sounds pretty logical, if you have the heater already then there’s no harm trying it out.
