What about keeping eels in a reef aquarium? Would you do it?

It definitely can be done, as long as you're ok with not adding anything big enough to fit in his mouth! I learned the hard way not long after I got him and he had a $25 royal gramma dinner

I would not keep eels.

I have a large zebra in my tank that I would rehome if I could remove it. I almost never see it frankly, so what's the point. I also occasionally have an otherwise healthy fish go missing, and while zebra's are generally reputed to be fish safe, I cannot help but wonder.

It's been awhile hope everyone has been well. I have 2 golden dwarf moreys. I have not had any problems or issues with them. One is very interactive and follows me around the tank and the other is more of a peeping Tom. I know they are small but they definitely could do some damage. I've feed raw whole peeled shrimp and together they tore it apart. They have terrible eye sight and go after my fish when they swim by but realize it's not the food stick. And that's usually because they smell any food first.

If I would - a Ribbon Eel

almost anything except Invertebrates (shrimp, etc). Its otherwise reef safe.

I would love to have a system with two different Ribbon Eels. I first saw them 40 years ago at an upstate New York aquarium store. One black and one a beautiful blue . Now I see there is a yellow available.They are simply magnificent
