I have talked to my LFS and they aren't sure but said it could be the start of coraline. It doesn't scrape off easily either. My snails are all over it, but they can't suck it off the rock either.

My nitrates are between 10-20 constantly no matter how many water changes I do. I have 2 clowns, 1 goby, 2 royal grammas , and a nem. I think the nitrates are coming from organic die off from my rock. The tank is about 2.5 months old.

Any help is appreciated.

Coraline comes in a variety of colors and I had rock with the exact shade of green. If it doesn't have a filmy or slimy consistency I'd be inclined to think coraline.

I like the aquascape. Do you have a full tank shot?

Thanks for the reply dwwataz. Here is my full tank. I hope it is coraline and nothing crazy. As for the texture it feels hard, and is not slimy/filmy at all
