This fish has been sick from the very beginning. Whatever this is, appeared about a week after introduction, and has days where it's barely noticeable, and other days when it's like the photos.

This fish had gotten so thin, you could almost see through him, but has been steadily gaining weight back. A great eater, super active, and other than these "danglers" seems healthy.

No other fish in the DT has been affected. Ocelaris pair, clown goby, gold head sleeper, green mandarin, bangai cardinals (breeding, by the way), and lot of corals and inverts...all thriving.

A FW dip did nothing, and I don't wan't to spend a lot of time treating the wrong thing. He's in a QT now (was almost impossible to catch for all these months), and seems happy in there too.

It looks to be some sort of viral lesion. How high is your flow in the tank? Is it extreme?

Not extreme, but its a reasonably high flow. Plenty of quiet spots, as well as high flow. He has no problem swimming in the tank if that's what you're wondering.

Viral lesion? I'm not too familiar with that one...

The way you say danglers...makes me think a worm type parasite...
