As the story goes, I was looking at my DT and noticed a few white branches poking out near my ricordia babies and I have no clue as to what they are. They don’t seem to be bothering them, but I wanted to get some input on if they need to be removed. Thanks in advance!

The bottom one is definitely a mini white Guardians Of The Marine Galaxy "Groot" hanging on to the rock for dear life... ;Joyful

Best guess is bryozoan, or perhaps tubes of some small worms... hard to see though, a photo with the whites up a bit more might help. are they hard and brittle?

It is absolutely a baby Groot!

I'll snap a photo this evening when all the lights are on. They do seem to be pretty rigid for their size. Might just have to do some weeding this evening.....
