the red thing. What is it? Its stringy and i see em on my glass once in a while
 
they will multiply if you have detritus. if you don't want to see tentacles everywhere then you may want to remove it now.

Its in my Qt so im not too worried, but all my sand and rock came from my dt, but i rarely see them in there
 
+1 spaghetti worm
Theyre unwelcomed in my tank but Some Wrasses will eat them, some shrimp might such as peppermint shrimp. They send tentacles out in multiple directions which emit a nasty looking mucus, and multiply rather quickly. It’s not unusual to have a small number of spaghetti worms turn into dozens in a matter of weeks.
Many hobbyists consider spaghetti worms as beneficial hitch hikers that clean the sand and water column of detritus and free floating particles. They bury their bodies into the sand, leaving their mouth and tentacles exposed to the water. This allows them to feed, while also remaining protected.. If startled, the worm will quickly retract all of its tentacles and retreat back into the sand until the perceived threat no longer there.
