What am I looking at here?

I noticed this little "hand" a few weeks back and it's been getting slightly bigger. A few have sprouted up in this little cave. I have some little clumps of what I assume are Red Algae. I'm sure this is something normal, but I'm new so I appreciate the help.

The tank is closing in on 3 months old. I haven't turned the lights on yet, but it does get light throughout the day.

Apologies for the terrible photo. I can get some better shots if necessary.

Yeah, still guessing it is a foram. Foraminifera are a single-celled organism that builds an external shell, typically considered harmless filter feeders in reef tanks.
