Please help me ID what is hitchhiking on my new Zoas.

If the unknown does not move than it may be some type of calcareous marine algae.
 
Its not a nudi.
Can you give us a little bit more info as in:
color
hard/soft
 
I wouldn't rule out a nudi......maybe a Tritoniopsis elegans, known to eat softies and having "bird's nest" protrusions.

Pull the frag and closely examine and remove item to see what it is. A coral dip wouldn't hurt.

+1 for calcerous algae... looking at the white tips, which look just like new growth tips. Observe and see if it moves... if it does, kill it just to be on the safe side as likely some sort of nudi using algae mimicry.
