I'm just wondering is it friend or foe, and does it have a name. the main body is about 1/4 inch and the tentacles cover an area of about a quarter. it's using them to move across my glass rather fast.

After finding the link to common hitchhikers at the top of the page I would wager that this is a spaghetti worm. But I'm still open to second opinions. Thanks

Its a spaghetti worm and unusual to see them on glass but are safe and eats uneaten food and detritus

I had just cleaned my glass with my flipper that I keep tucked away in the corner of my tank. It probably set up shop on that and came loose during cleaning. Thanks everyone .

As common as they are, I never seem to get any as hitchhikers. I wouldn't mind one. I find them interesting.
