Hello All,

I have a SPS that I cannot remember the name and was wondering if anyone may have some insight. The coral is currently under T5 lighting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No idea an acropora or some sort

What’s your T5 bulb combo?

Just based on the color it looks similar my RC Poison Envy. Its a very slow grower for me so I cannot comment on the growth form compared to yours.

I have had it in its same location for about 2 years and it started out as a small frag. Seems to be a slow grower, whatever it may be.

Is it a Fox Flame?
You know that is what I was leaning towards and have been. But the coloration has me hung up. I looked up the recommended lighting for a Fox Flame and it recommends High lighting. I didnt think my T5's were that high output with the bulbs being almost a year.

I am going to frag a piece and put it under a Gen4 XR15 and see what the color does.

Agree on flame and popular jason fox coral. WWC has them on occasion

Looks like a possible latistella to me. One of my favorites too even though there are much cooler color variants this and the shortcake version are great. I love this color because the tips glow and the body color can become dramatically peachy.

T5s can definitely be a high output situation, and they don't lose PAR as much as you might think. They lose some early, then the reduction is very gradual after that...if I remember correctly. You could "blue it up" with the Radions and see what it looks like though.
