I have an Onyx Clownfish and about to get a Frostbite Clownfish. Do you know what anemone would be best for that pair?

Just letting you know there is no guarantee that your anemone will host the clowns. Be prepared to re-home it.

thank you for letting me know. I hope the clownfish will like

How old is the tank? Most anemone's prefer a well established tank. If the system is still relatively young, you may want to wait awhile. the clowns will be fine.

Since one clownfish is a percula and the other is an ocellaris, their natural host anemones are slightly different. The likelihood that your clownfish will accept a natural host anemone is extremely high (in my experience it is 100%)/

According to Fautin and Allen, the host anemones for percula are H. crispa, H. magnifica, and S. gigantea. The host anemones for ocellaris are H. magnifica, S. gigantea, and S. mertensii.

Note that none of these anemones are 1) easy to find, 2) easy to acclimate, and 3) easy to care for (you must create and maintain a specific environment for each species, though once achieved, many of these anemones are not difficult).

Other anemones that could potentially become host anemones are bubble tip anemones and H. malu, but there's no guarantee.

I have two percs and a long tentacle. Didn’t host. Purchased a fire clown I saw at petco hosting a bubble tip as soon as I he went into the tank he swam right into the nem.
