I'm wanting to set up one of my 40 breeders as a anemone tank, with clown's. We have a larger 14" Green Carpet, but we don't want him hurt or to kill other Anenome's.

So what other Anenome's can live with him in,..... harmony ?

You will have the best looking anemone by keeping only that species together. To put simple, a LOT goes into husbandry in keeping multiples together, AND, keeping them looking their best. Many people are able to keep multiple species together, but they don't do as well as keeping only one species together. Very few are able to keep multiple species together and have them all look in their prime. Many people do it, few do it well.

It's possible to mix, but easiest to keep the same species.

Too hard to say. Too much to say. With something like a maxi mini, it may go very well. You add a BTA, you may regret it. Some pull it off. Feeling lucky? Try it. You add a LTA, they may both get big enough to touch, and both wander. Both those anemones can get 24" under the right care, and a generous feeding schedule. A 40 breeder is only 36" wide. If you try it, keep feeding to a minimum and you may pull it off, with strong lighting. If you try it, get them to settle on opposite sides, feed them until you notice health improve, and size increase. When you see size increase, pull back on feeding. You may be able to do it, it just comes with some risks, that's all.

Don't want any murders going on !
May have to keep Mr. Berber on his own.

If I was you, I'd try sticking with the stichodactyla family. Try a maxi or mini carpet, a cousin. Not only a real good chance of compatability, but they come in some nice colors too! ...they stay small..... Maxi around 8" max, and mini maybe 2, 3, or 4" max, I think. ?..problem may be splitting if they're happy.... I'm not familiar with keeping them first hand, but from what I've seen, they seem to work well with the rest of the stichodactyla's.

It's too hard for anyone to say for sure that you would have trouble adding an anemone, but adding some specific ones, like a mag or LTA for example, is asking for trouble, depending on type, size, etc.... A very broad question..... Best of luck, post a pic of your haddoni pl

You should also be able to add E.Crucifer, Rock Nems, without much issue. Good luck and follow Taylor T's advice.
