I currently have 4 1 inch long clowns (Babys), 2 blue hippo tangs (2 inches each) a flame hawk, and purple Dotty back. I have a few soft corals (zoa, hammer, plate coral, Thinking its time to add one or two more fish and wanted something a little bigger than an inch or two. Tank is 125 Gallons with 55 Gallon sump little less than half full with 80 Lb of live rock. We really wanted an Angel fish but I hear mixed reviews with soft corals, some say they will eat everything and others say theirs didtn and wanted to see what experience you guys can share. Also like shrimp goby combo, and my kids think its the coolest thing how they "live" together, or so my daughter says. Was also thinking of a yellow tang but everyone tells me to make it the last fish I get since they tend to be aggressive. Really looking to add a few fish with some color that will get along long term. I am still new so any suggestions are welcome.

Honestly your zoa may be in danger with angels it is touch and go completely.

Not sure how much help i am there are lots of good choices, I like flameback Angels personally

anthias (lyretail & bartlets), reef safe wrasses ( six line, melanarius, leopard), firefish, blue green chromis, bangaii cardinal, clownfish, swallow tail angel, flame angel are some goodies

I had a Pygmy angel as well ( before marine velvet RIP). It never bothered my corals and was a very interesting fish to watch.

I have a Brazilian flameback angel that hasn't touched any of my corals in 3 months since he was put in my DT...also have a Tiger Pistol and Yellow watchman, it is fun to see them work together but they're always rearranging my rocks and sometimes cause collapses.

Really kinda depends upon the fish royal gamma are suppose to be peaceful ... but (shrugs)

I have a pygmy angle now and had a flame in the past. Neither went after my soft corals, and there are LPS(a large hitch hiking tube coral colony) that he hasnt messed with either.

Think of it like dogs, just b/c labs love water doesnt mean they all do...and not ALL collies will herd everything...and somewhere out there is a trainable basset hound(just kidding on that one! impossible)

Thanks Untamedrose, think I am going to be seeing if an angel will work. Appreciate the feedback from everyone. You guys and gals have been super helpful since I started.
