What are Lagoon Tank Dimensions?

Hi all,

Is there a rule of thumb for what makes a lagoon tank a lagoon tank?

I am considering setting up a 36x24x18, do you think this is to tall for lagoon proportions?

To me, a “lagoon” tank is any that have the smallest dimension as up. It’s a sales pitch word IMO. The style is intended to have lots of sand with rock islands but this type of aquascape can be done in any tank, it’s just easier in shorter ones with big footprints.
