What are my options for an anemone?

Bubble tip and mag are out of the question, looking for a sand dwelling nem that doesn't require much light. So my problem is this after getting rid of my maroon pair and bubble tips about a year ago and being more dedicated to corals I'm back to having three clowns and no nem. I currently have a trachy that I'm willing to sub for a nem, only issue is it doesn't get direct light in that spot and not sure if there's a nem that doesn't require much light.
My lfs usually carrys lta but always huge, thought about a carpet but the infections that come along just pushes me away.
If anyone can point me in the right direction lmk.

My opinion....three clowns it one too many....they will eventually fight to the death.

Second comment is that you don't pick the spot for your anemone, it picks where it wants to reside, and will move about your tank until it finds it's happy place.

All that said, a mini maxi might be a consideration, but not sure if clowns will find them pleasing since they do not have long tentacles.

For this time that's actually the spot I'm picking , that's why I'm looking for a sand dwelling nem one that won't move and also that requires low light. Three clowns might be too many and you're right one might be out soon but for now they're happy, just trying to find them a better home.

Anemone move when they are not happy. Best just stick to coral. Fairly low light anemone still require a lot of light. From what you wrote, your best option is a plastic or rubber anemone.

Rock flower nems usually stay put where ever you place them. They wont host the clowns and dont have the flowing tentacles like BTA and such.

If you want something that may host a clown and won't move on its own, I'd suggest euphylia. I've had clowns hosting frogspawn in the past for instance.

Your tank is beautiful and looks to be in great health. Looking at the pic it does not appear much room for an anemone such as an LTA or some type of carpet and the chances of you picking the spot is not realistic as the nems will go where it wants and there really is no low light anemone as they do need powerful lighting to support their algal symbiotes.

Clowns do not need anemones nor do anemones need clowns...just sayin'.

I have a green tip hammer now and was hoping they went in that but not yet.

Thanks for the comments on my tank! So I came to realization that there's no room for a nem for my clowns just trying to give them a home besides the red monti cap and my trachy. So what you guys think about this.
