I think the Bristletooth's are some of the smaller tang. Examples of those in that family are the Kole and Tomini tangs.

yes the mimics stay small but ive had to take a bunch out of clients tanks cuz they seem to like nipping at coral. they are a angel mimic after all

would bristle tooths fight with other tangs that have similar shape?

i really like the atlantic blue, but idk what all everyone would suggest

ok thanks, so ill stay away from the mimic..NOT TAKING CHANCES WITH MY CHALICE COLLECTION!

atlantics are yellowish when they are small and take a while to color up.
and when adding multiple tangs either all at once or smallest to largest in actual size

whats a good macro algae eater to have in your tank if you are keeping a chalice collection and dont want to risk any coral nipping by the fish?

The chevron is my new favorite but it hink they are pricey

My Tomini tang rules the frag tank filled with chalices and he's a great cleaner of algae!

i agree on the tommi being a good grazer as i have one, at one point he slacked off or could not keep up and i had to add a scopas.
sometimes you need that zebramossa snout to get in the hard to reach places
