I have a 200g 6ft tank.
Current stock is:
- Pair of Barrier Reef Clowns
- Sailfin Tang
- Foxface
- Yellow Coris
- Timor Wrasse
- Royal Dottyback
- Group of damsels (Yellowtail, Humbug, Talbots etc)

Wha are some underrated or unknown fish that I could add? Ive been looking at a Harlequin Tusk and Birdnose Wrasse.

Thanks!

some lesser known rabbitfish. Everyone knows foxface, but what about the orange spot rabbitfish or the golden rabbitfish? Or you could get the widely known, but also not widely known in saltwater, the columbian shark. the stripey is also really cool.

Chevron or whitetail bristletooth tang.
I dont mind spending a bit of money on nice fish but whitetail bristletooths are $1000+ in Australia, and I havent even seen a chevron in years!

I'm from Sydney too. My LFS sells nice bristletooths for $50-$60 AUD!

Smaller bristletooth tangs… Why do people avoid the smaller bristletooth such as Twinspots, Koles, Tominis. Because they aren’t dull if you care for them properly, and they certainly do good jobs as CUC. Plus, their fins being bigger then their body is beautiful, especially when they turn!
Here’s my twin spot in the early morning:

Radial filefish are reef safe and very interesting to watch.

Depends on whether your reef is sps, LPS or softy predominant. My 200 is mostly sps. Regal angel is very well behaved and doesn’t bother coral. Multibar and venustus angels a little nippy on the sps but doesn’t seem to bother them. My 65 is soft coral predominant. In that one I have a sharp nose puffer (Toby) that is fine with those corals and he is awesome. You have lots of good options in the 200. Finally, I agree with the other posts on the bristletooth tangs. I love my kole tang. He’s my favorite of the grazers
