I love my 2 Gladiators but the correct answer as to the what are the best designer clownfish are the ones you already own! ;)

...or the ones you're about to get!

This is a tough subject.. I have looked at these over and over.. just can’t get my head wrapped around them. When I look at the variations I find myself leaning towards the ones that look near normal than the different ones. The naked one is probably the only unique one I like.

the long fins scare me.. LOL.

When I bought my clowns I didn’t know there were so many different types. My LFS had orange clowns and black clowns. I picked Black clowns because they were unique, hahaha I had no idea.

The one looks like a stubby Picasso. How did you get them to host that? Looking to try to get mike to host my hammers or torches.
Put them all together in an acrylic quarantine box inside the tank. After a few days they hosted and have never left

I remember when the lightning maroons first came on the scene. I was sooo excited to see the beautiful lace patterns. To me, they looked so elegant! The more lacy one looked, the better I liked it! It took about two years before I was able to plunk down the money to get a tiny pair. The largest one was only 1/2 inch. Remember how expensive they were when they first became available in the hobby? Well, the female died within the first week. It didn't ship well. The male I still have. I bought him another girlfriend about four months later, but she became very aggressive with him over time, and all he ever did was hide, so the female got her own little tank and he went into the 180 gal. LOL I still have my original snowflake too. She is...I want to say...about 10 to 11 years old now. I'd have to go back to look at my records to be sure. Her name is Sharkbite. She goes for flesh whenever my hand goes into the tank to clean. Boy, she is fast! Scares the heck out of me every time. I know the attack is coming, but I still jump - splashing water all over. LOL
