I ordered online a Filefish, goby, cucumbers, anemone and snail to be delivered on Friday. With the storm disruption in Indianapolis it will not be delivered till Monday. Whats the chances anything is alive?

Unfortunately, not good.

My anemones were delivered a day late last week and all three dead, I’m in Carmel.

If they packed well with lots of oxygen and heat packs there’s a chance but the heat packs don’t last a full 24 hours.

I learned the hard way never to have livestock shipped to arrive on Friday. Any delay and it will be Monday before you get it. I had some fish and coral sitting in a truck here in town but because I didn't pay extra for Saturday delivery they wouldn't even get it out of the truck till Sunday night.

I agree never set up shipping for a Friday delivery. LiveAquaria says they use 72-hour packs. Sometimes in these situations if it's at least in your area fedex or ups will let you pick up the boxes from their facility. Ups let me come pick up boxes on a Saturday once. That's when i learned my lesson. After 2 days actually had no fish losses from live Aquaria out of 9 fish including a blue spot jaw fish.

Well I did my research before ordering on the weather, being I can only get packages delivered on Friday or Saturday (days off). It was 65 on Thursday (day of ship out) 67 on Friday ( day of scheduled delivery) got my tracking number Thursday night before I went to bed. Woke up Friday checked tracking it was still in Indianapolis at FedEx. Contacted the shipper and they changed it to Saturday delivery. Got up Saturday and checked tracking and it was still in Indianapolis. Sunday they moved my package to Memphis and I received it Monday morning. When I opened the package all the bags fogged up because the water was ice cold. Poor guys. The shipper is giving me credit so we will see how that goes.
