what are the Coolest reef safe hermit crabs?

Are there any hermits out there that get bigger than red and blue legs that are reef safe? I think hermit are super cool and would love to have a unique addition to the reef

Some will say no hermit crabs are safe at all,but I have had good luck with Halloween hermits, they are the biggest hermits that I would call reef safe. They may knock things over but I’ve never had one eat anything it shouldn’t. Definitely avoid any of the larger hermits like the white spot…I have one that lives in my sump and he is an absolute monster! Fascinating creature but definitely not reef safe.

These polka dot ones are my fav... they have one huge claw that they use a trap door to shut their shell tight.

2 years ago I started with 6 and only have 1 now. I guess he is the champion!
