What are the "must have" acans?

How do you know which acan is which? Is there a database with names?

When I spend $50 or more per polyp I rarely forget.

Love acans, but seems no matter what they originally look like they always change in my ta k. still look. Ice but the colors tend to change. Any advice?

jmo ,, its all about lighting ,, the brighter the light ,, the more they tend to change ,, some will tell you LEDs aren't good for Acans ,, I tend to think its just what kind of light you are putting into the tank ,, plus keeping them fat and happy ,,,

I have 2 hydra 52s and 2 26s over my tank running at about 65% all my acans are near the bottom 24inches. They're all fat and happy and always have feeders out. But never really stay with the crazy colors.

Agree with the lighting. My experience CB and CC stay the same coloration under Radion Pro G4, also what’s in your water.

Have you checked your Par numbers ,, the Pros can chime in on this ,, I am not one but if it were me ,, I would run the lights almost like I would over a Chalice tank ,, almost all blue ,, keep the Par around 185 ,, ya'll Pros don't blast me here ,, I am not a Pro you can start there and adjust by what the Acans tell you ,, unless one of the Pros chime in here and cut the trail period out for you my guess is ,, if they aren't holding there color for you,, you have the lights to bright ,, even if the lights are set perfect ,, I have read they can still morph on you ,,

Got this one as a mostly orange 20 dollar frag. I keep it under s G4 Pro under the AB+ schedule

and it has done really well.

I have read that acans color up better in PAR levels under 100. I haven't really tested it out yet.
