What are the rarest SPS?

I'm making the journey into true SPS as I just upgraded my tank and lighting. I was just curious as to what are the rarest, best looking and most expensive SPS pieces out there? Anyone have any thoughts? Also, if so... any pics? Thank You!

I know very little about SPS, but this discussion came up a few weeks ago, and I think the Grafted Simplex won the prize for the most rare.

Check out the trade thread from Reef Goddess, her stuff is amazing, some I have never seen before. I am sure she would hook you up with a nice little frag pack.

Just a tip, but I would probably wait a few months to let the tank get established before adding sps. That's just me though, and I tend to be a bit overly cautious.

who cares how rare it is its all in how it looks do you like the growth pattern or colors personally i like tableing corals so efflos are my fav

Obviously he cares or he wouldn't pose the question. Some people buy based on looks, some buy based on name and rarity, its not up to us to judge either way. :tongue:

I think its that syntex one or something complex i forget a name.. do a search there is a thread on here for top 10 sps and its talked about on it.
