What are the small white things

Hello. We have started getting very small white fluffy looking things. Almost look like a mini qtip. They are growing on the rocks. Any ideas? I';m not posting pictures because i cant figure out how to make them small enough. When I download, it says file is too large. Thanks!!

Likely its some type of sponge.

sounds like a sponge that i cant remmeber the name of...not a bad thing at all can be a sign that your tank is maturing and doing good
