Picked it up a couple days ago as a won auction… it’s by nothing else in the sand bed. Puffed up more than it was at LFS. - leave it alone?

I would check your parameters. I had a cynaria and a scoly touching and they were look like that on the sides that touched. But if you have nothing else in the sand bed, I expect something else is ticking him off

Also - I did have a small chalice frag near it --- maybe sweepers last night ticked it off? It was probably 4-5 inches away though?

It could just be a new tank that isn't really stabililized yet.
