What are these bubbles

Just put livestock in my new tank yesterday... 3 chromis 2 pajama cardinals and 4 blue leg hermit... come down today and there are bubblea under my rock just on one side? Any idea what it is? They are even in the holes of the rock

I’m pretty sure those are just air bubbles and have nothing to do with the livestock. They’ve either been there for a while, or were created by a filter or pump blowing micro bubbles.

It's trapped air. Nothing to really worry about. You will notice these bubbles after water changes particularly and in new tanks. eventually they will rise to the surface and get released in the air.
