what are these bugs/creatures in my tank?

I dont even see them earlier today. I went out for two hours and came back to see this.

This is the best I can do because they are so tiny. They are all over the glass. Please help me identify what they are and how to get rid of them.

they can come in on frags, live rock, etc. They tend to be more visible at night and when the lights are out.

They look like amphipods. Generally good CUC, can eat zoas. If you want them gone get a Halichoeres wrasse of any kind they will be greatly reduced in a week or two.

These are tanidaceans, commonly referred to as munnid isopods. They are very common in new tanks but generally fade away as the tank matures. As has already been stated they are harmless members of the cuc and tasty fish snacks.

They feed on phytoflankton which microscopic size marine algae. When they happy, well fed they will polute A LOTS

They do. It’s a sign you have a healthy population that you’re seeing them.

I want to add that they do not go away and are in tanks new and old.
