Agreed amphipods, I have quite a few of them in my tank.

They are actually a great clean up crew for your tank, and yes they love to play around and wrestle. Up to you if you want to keep them or not but they are a great member of your cuc
They move exactly like a gammarid amphipod. As mentioned, they are a great clean up crew and a nice little snack for any fish.
check out this link and look at the pods in it. It should help confirm which kind of amphipods they are. If they are gammarid pods, the second link goes into detail about them.

I feel like an idiot asking about this since I’m always on the helping end of things. I’ve been trying to post a video shot in 4K. They just don’t look like amphipods when actually looking at the tank, which is why I asked.
I’ll take everyone’s word for it though as you all are the overwhelming majority.

When they scurry about, they flatten out and aren’t curled up like most of the pictures. If you can manage to get one out and put it in a Tupperware container to get a pic that would help for sure with id’ing it if they don’t actually look like a pod.
