What are these clownfish doing? Sideways flashing?

Umm... why is what I'd consider the soon to be female flashing so sideways? The one with the wider middle stripe has been the dominant one so far. It usually is mean to the other clownfish causing the other clownfish to do the submissive twitch.

Sorry, I know I already posted a thread asking if my clowns look normal but today is the first time I've seen this sideways flashing. When I first started watching it seemed like the one with the wider bar was flashing and the other clownfish was doing the same underneath it.

Here is some video I got. I tried not to get too close because as I soon as I do they start begging for food.

One other thing I noticed is my Kupang Damsel has started to get more bold. He was darting towards the dominant clownfish and seemed to be the aggressor. Didn't look too serious, but should my clownfish be able to hold their own against Damsel?
