Sorry if wrong forum Idk where else to ask. These guys are in my DT. I’m in the middle of a fallow period following an ich outbreak. I’ve never seen them until about 2 days ago. All I have in my DT are hermit crabs and snails. All my fish are in a QT. Should I be concerned? There’s a bunch and they move quickly. How do I kill them if necessary

Look like copods. very good. certain fish depend on them for food and they are part of the CUC.

But I would wait for a second and third opinion from the experts here.

Amphipods. They are good. Usually will explode I. Numbers when going fallow. When reintroduce fish will go back down to manageable numbers. Great fish food. Wish I had more

Ahhhh thanks guys! Now I can rest easy and my fish get a free live meal when the DT is ready!

Yes, a great food source! Amphipod in the group Gammarus. We've used them as first live food for newly hatched cuttlefish:)
