What are these flesh wounds (?)

Im noticing there is a white spot, like a flesh wound, that gets larger by the day. The first spots started small on 6/23 but was getting noticeably large on 6/25. I can see it getting larger by the day..
Im assuming it's not good. But what does it mean? And why is it doing this..? The coral went in on 6/20

What kind of fish/other inhabitants do you have?
Also, what are your parameters and how old is the tank (looks awfully new).

Oh it's very new. It finished cycling around 6/15.
it has 1" goby and 2 skunk cleaners that went in on 6/23. Made sure it ammonias and nitrites were 0

What kind of goby? And what is your alk, ph, phosphates, etc. Also what kind of lighting (and do you know what kind of lighting it was previously under)?

yasha goby that has just been sitting in the corner for as long as he's been in the tank. so ive also been worried about him. i dont think he's going at the coral especially since the issues started before the goby went in

I dont have a kit to test ph, phosphates, alk unfortunately. i should probably get those.

i have 2 Radion XR30

my other coral seem fine

Have you tried using a flashlight to observe things at night with the lights off?

that might be a good way to see what’s going on if it’s a pest of some sort

Relax, it’s self fragging. It will continue until a piece large enough to sustain itself falls off.
