This popped up in 2 places. Only about 4 strands total in my tank. It is NOT gha. I have gha beside it and they’re slightly different. This has somewhat of a sturdy stem and king of has branches on it. I don’t know what it is.

Have you got a clean up crew . Take it out with siphon pipe and something to take it off the rock . How old is your reef . And if you mean the coral zoa / pal you can remove them but remember about toxins they can produce harmful toxins gloves and eye protection better safe than sorry

I would take the rock with the zoas on it out and put it in a container 1/3 ratio of 3% hydrogen peroxide and tank water for about 7 minutes. Enjoy the bubbles as it’s killing the algae. Rinse and put it back in the tank. I have done this multiple times with out it bothering the zoas. Also there appears to be a bubble algae in the zoa cluster, if its the only one in your tank it would be a good time to scrape it off while the hydrogen peroxide is doing its work.
