What are these green things on my rock?????

Hey all,
Anyone recognize these things? This rock is in a sump that i placed in there about 6 months ago to help start up the tank. I did put a cheato light on it about 6 weeks ago......good? bad?? any suggestions??

I have never seen any that colour, mine are usually whitish. But yeah, looks like sponges.

They appear to be pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders that are great for your tank.

Sponge ....
I have one rock with the whole underside covered .
I have read angelfish eat it .
have tried many including juv emperor, potters angel but I think Mine grows faster than it could be consumed .
