What are these growing on my rocks??

I used dry rock and sand and have only added two clowns which I dipped. I saw these things when I added the rock but thought they were dead since the rock had been dry for a year. Now it appears they are growing tubes. Are they Vermetidae snails? Should I get rid of them and if so any suggestions? Does appear they are spreading.

Vermented snails , not particularly harmful, but not particularly beneficial.

Get rid of them. They can get out of controlled if nothing is done.

kill any you see, either crush the whole thing completely or just super glue the end of the tube. Not too harmful but they can tick off corals

Yes, as others suggested smash them and glue. I have quite a few of them, and they are an incredible nuisance. Some days I want to pull out a sledgehammer.

fairly easy to remove. just got rid of a couple of these on a coral. just make sure you remove all that you can. the internal living being likes to stick to the surface,but is fairly easy to eradicate

So, I tore apart my aqua scape and there was a ton of them. one rock has around 50. not sure where they came from since I used dry rock and have no coral or invertebrates in this tank yet ( I've been quarantining them to prevent this, lol). I picked most of them off with a knife and glued some as well. Left the heavily infested rock out, am going to soak it in bleach solution tomorrow for the next week and recycle it. I figure, I might as well get it all under control before adding coral. Thanks for the help!!
