I was checking on the tank last night with a flash light and noticed some little critters hanging out by the Zoa frags. I took pictures of the largest one. They seem to like the Zoas.

thanks

I've never heard of them eating anything but stuff you want out of the tank anyway. I always consider them beneficial and excellent live food for the fish.

+1 - Excellent photos, though! I have some big ones like that and they never bother much of anything.

thanks for the props on the photos :) Canon powershot 110 on a tripod in manual mode. Not a fancy camera, but if it's close to the galss it does well, a foot in, not so much!

so I shouldn't worry about these guys? I'm still tempted to suck the big ones out!

+1 They won't harm or eat anything IMO

what kind of camera took the pics

point and click canon powershot 110 in manual mode with manual focus. I crop the picture and resized to 640x480.

it does well up to about 8" from the glass, after that I can't zoom in as much.

good for occasional shots, DSLR is the way to go though!

Great photo from a Point and Shoot, agreed excellent source of live food for inverts and fish. He will be short lived.

I agree I have some huge ones too that my scooter blenny chases around. but never had any issues. There a good thing to have. In my opinion your reef is doing great and stable when you have them in your tank.
