What are these little hairs

Have a nice Zoa plug and these little hair like things are intermixed with the Zoas.

They are hard to get a super clear pic of. Don’t think aptasia. Thoughts?

Ok. Seems like they are bad. I may just sacrifice the plug. Sucks to toss$30 but sucks more to have a bigger tank wide issue

They are common but can potentially upset certain corals if they grow out of control. I have them in my 150 and have never seen a coral upset by them. There are however several different types and mine died back a little after cutting feeding down a little. Best of luck

The frag does seem stressed. Never really opens all the way any more. Bummer.

Zoas are tough. Maybe I’ll pop it off and scrub it with a toothbrush. Give it a fw dip. See what happens.
