My daughter and I just noticed these little white critters all over my glass. She thinks they are parasites. Anyone have any idea. I have no fish in my aquarium because it crashed about 3 weeks ago. This is the first time I have seen these. Right now I just have a couple hermit crabs and some turbo snails.

Can't tell by the pic but it could be pods multiplying since you don't have fish to eat them

They are very very tiny. They almost look like dust. I'm afraid to put fish in the tank now.

Do some research but I think they might be Copepods. The picture is too hard to tell. Mine started primarily as white bug looking things - nearly microscopic. They are good. The bottom of the natural food chain in your tank.

I am just getting done cycling my new tank and I have them too. Think they came over from the LR from my other tank. May be tiny snails. I do have copepods too. They look like tiny shrimp. But they are pretty fast.
