What are these little white things?

New LTA.... Now I'm seeing these little white things by my fan. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

These are often found in darker shady places often sumps and thrive on silicates either from RO unit resin OR Tap water sources. They are harmless and short lived

Hmm tank about year and a half old. Stable. Are they bad? And should i try to remove?

Leave them. Filter feeders. They go away on their own

Having a silicate type of skeleton, filter foods will not support any type of calcareous sponge long term. several weeks yes but Not long term
