Just got my new zoas last Thursday and he hasn’t opened very much since and I’ve seen some little strings coming out of him. What could I do to help it open up?

Thanks, Jake

Probably either a spaghetti worm or brittle starfish leg. Either are good CUC members. Could irritate a zoa momentarily, but not be a hazard long term.

Spaghetti worms. Harmless.

I've had new Zoa's take up to two weeks to really open up. Some just don't like to be moved, and some don't seem to care at all
