Probably "Red Wiry Algae." If so, the darn stuff is bad news and tough to get rid of. Perfect reason to dip, remove the coral from existing plug, and glue to a fresh new clean plug.

Yea thpught so.. i did dip my corals.. but ill break em off the plugs... just sucks the corals i got were growing off the plugs itd be a shame to waste so much growth

Well i broke as much coral off as i could.

Sniff.. they were so nice looking too...

But it isnrmt worth it. One coral i got my plating red montipora the plug looks clean should i leave that alone ? Id hate to break it too.

Hopefully i did the right thing breaking them off... I dont think the mini peices of the season greetings green monti will make it.. but well see..

I did the right thing right lol ??..
