What are these purple things?!

Hey everyone! I just finished a routine deep visual examination of my tank and I found these purple dots all over the backside of my bubble coral. At first I thought it was coralline growing, but they look wavy. I also thought they were flatworms, but they are not moving at all and are no where else in the tank. There is also an appendage on the bottom of the rock that sticks out, I don't think it's a vermetid snail, but can't be 100%. There is never any webbing that is sticking out at times of feeding, or any point in the day. Is that just part of the rock work? I also took a turkey baster and blasted those areas, and nothign detached. My bubble coral is doing amazing right now, had it for 2 weeks and it's polyps are massive (it's a little closed up in the picture, but is twice the size of this normally)! P.S. coral was dipped when it arrived and contain no critters or pests (except microfauna).

Looks like an algae known as foraminifera and harmless

Hey Vette! Thanks for replying to me. Is that a vermetid snail on the bottom??

It looks like a vermetid snail tube to me. It's possible that the tube is uninhabited, but, if it's new, I'd guess you have vermetids to deal with.

Just removed the coral and cut that piece off and anything that looked like a tube. It was just a part of the rock work. I got kinda lucky. I also just found 2 baby feather dusters that have decided to pop out of the bottom. This piece sure does have some nice biolife on it lol.
