What are these speedy things?

Sorry the pictures aren't great but tried to get a good one the last few mornings. They have no shell, are pretty fast, and about the size of a pinky finger nail.. I saw one about a week ago and now every morning I wake up to about 8 that i can see.. as soon as the light comes on they make there way down the glass and back into the live rock?

Are they friends are foes?

I can't tell much from those photos, but they sound like stomatella snails.....google that and see if that's what you have....they only have a partial little shell.
