What are these things growing in my sump?

I feel like I'm always discovering something weird in my reef tank lol. Was changing filter floss and discovered a bunch of these white things growing in the sump. What are they? Are they bad?

Cool so leave the sponges alone or should I try to remove them at some point if becomes too many?


Also, are these Barnacle looking things okay? I see them all the time when I go fishing.

You can leave them but they will multiple like crazy covering anything in your sump. Every 6 months or so I clean them all out. They will grow in any dark area.
