Been neglecting my tank as summer is here and was doing some much needed maintenance and noticed these

Pineapple sponges and vermetid snails

The sponges no, the vermetid snails are generally not a problem but can bother coral if they get out of hand. They release a mucus web when feeding that can irritate coral. They generally reproduce depended on how much food is available, so dont overfeed and they should stay in check

Yeah I’ve noticed some stringy things coming off of my hammers and they won’t open up as much as they used too. also my tank is fallow at the moment so I hardly ever feed
