i think i'm just gonna super glue them shut....b/c the acro seems to be a bit stressed. but that could also be from being up in high light (if they prefer low light).

I say leave it, the acro has grown to a good size with it already. It'll most likely starve eventually anyways.

They can cause local irritation, but it usually doesn't amount to too much. I had some on a A. echinata that were neon green where ever the barnacles were. They died, but looked cool when they were there. Added a splash of color here and there.

I'd say leave them be. Not sure if it will cause more harm than good to kill them by plugging the hole with super glue. It might start to rot inside the corals and cause it to STN/RTN. I have some AC stuff with them and they have caused no harm.

Cleaning the tank out today, i hope. I cant get a good shot cause i have coraline in the way. Gonna try and do a little scrapping.

You made me move my goni and clean my glass for this pic. LOL
Let me know if yours changes color at all. Some of my higher tips have deloped a 1//2-3/4" long white band with a blue/purple tip. The base has gotten slightly greener too.

They had some REALLY NICE loripes up at the LFS so i went up tonight to see if i could get some more but all 4 specimens turned brown. I didnt pick up any but am sure i could get em for cheap. Was kinda dissappointed though as i would like another one for the bottom of the tank.

Its actually the last coral in line of a koralia #2. The powerhead is in the top corner of the tank, this coral is opposite end bottm. So i don't think its getting a ton of flow persay. I have a small ora scripps frag right above it and i'd say medium flow.
