What are these tiny white specs coming from my return pump?

Does anyone know what this is? Are they bubbles? Is it something else? They werent always there. I don't think the fish minds it, but it's an eye sore.

They look like micro bubbles to me.
Could be from your skimmer. You could be sucking in air from your return line.

I don't have a skimmer

No skimmer? Still could be microbubbles. Could also be a bacterial bloom particularly with no skimmer going. Could be something as simple as something stirring up your sand bed if you have one

double check that the pump intake is not drawing in any bubbles and that the return lines/nozzles are fully submerged
