What are these white dots?

My tank is 6 months old and over last 3 days, I’m seeing these white dots on everything…not the fish, but noticed one on a coral. I thought they were copepods at first but I think I’m quite wrong. Please help me ID. I pray it isn’t serious. Thank you!

Spirorbid worms (they're a type of feather duster worm) - harmless filter feeders, though some people consider them pests because they can be unsightly in large enough numbers.

My tank was absolutely covered with them. They will die back after a little time.

If you are feeding particulate foods and you want them gone sooner, cut back just a little.

You can use an old credit card to scrape them off, particularly when they are on flat surfaces.
