What are these white spots on my rock?

I have noticed these white spots on my rock and some of my snails and its really worrying me... Not sure what it is. There's some on my glass as well

Eggs would be my guess, either from a snail or some other low order critter.

Yes I do. I have around 30-40 nerites

Do they normally hatch if so how long do they take

No, all they do is create a mess.

Do your nerites or did your nerites try to crawl out of the tank?

A few did but haven't found any withing the last couple months

Actually, I'm not sure if they are one of the ones that hatch, but that's it and they die, or if these don't hatch at all. The eggs hang out until they very slowly dissolve and leave these messy little rings behind. You will not see offspring.

The rope variety all tried to escape for me, but the smooth variety did not. The rope variety left those big messy eggs, yet the smooth variety didn't.

I don't buy the rope variety anymore.
