Does anyone have any idea what these are??

They started sprouting on my rock in a few places, and are in a high concentration. They are hard to the touch, and have just continued growing.

Any idea what these might be. Just curious, and what to make sure they're okay in the tank.

Could be bubble algae; if so, get rid of it and several recommendations on R2R as to how best to do it, e.g. emerald crabs.....

Thanks Mike, I don't believe it's bubble algae. It's almost like a fluorescent green, and you can't crush it...they seem pretty solid.

Hmmmm, has your tank been near a nuclear plant/waste site recently? Maybe with Homer Simpson at the controls, lol?

Seriously...

The only thing I thought they might be and I"ve seen these on some WWC auctions are "snake polyps"

@WWC - think that might be them?

Could be Neomeris sp. I can ID the exact species if the white gametangia are present and I can see their arrangement pattern

Did a search...looked at other pictures...that's it!

Hopefully it doesn't grow much more. This has been an EXTREMELY SLOW grower.

Thanks everyone!
