I have a WB 65.4 aio Replaced my socks and saw these in both sock chambers but no where else. Any idea what they are and how they got in my tank?

Can you give a bit of a description? Are they swimming? Moving at all? If not, they might be sponges. Better pictures would help with identification as well.

is this better? they’re not actively moving and they’re pretty hard to the touch. I can pluck them off but I can scrape off. The confusing part is they’re only located in sock chamber.

I'd say feather duster worm in their tubes - harmless filter feeders.

Would you know how they got into my system? I haven’t added anything in months and when I do I QT and dip before anything goes into DT.
If you haven't added anything in months, then these have been in your system for months; they could have hitchhiked in on just about anything - rocks, snails, frags, etc.
They were probably small enough to be easily missed when they came in to the tank.

My sump has had these for a while, some of them are quite big now. I'd put a few in my display tank, but I doubt they would last five minutes in there.
